Dr. Phuntsog Wangmo is a renowned Tibetan scholar and Traditional Tibetan Medicine Doctor with over 30 years of experience in clinical practice and teaching. She serves as the director of the Shang Shung Institute School of Tibetan Medicine. Dr. Phuntsog Wangmo played an essential role in the establishment and growth of our school and its programs. She organized and led our pioneering four-year medical training program, marking the first comprehensive, traditional Tibetan Medicine training program introduced in the Western world. Dr. Phuntsog Wangmo imparts her knowledge in Tibetan Medicine through educational programs conducted worldwide, including the East and West coasts of the USA, Italy, Spain, Russia, and beyond.
