Join our new Yantra Yoga & Tibetan Medicine Course!

A unique opportunity to explore in depth the Preliminary Series of Yantra Yoga, known in Tibetan as "Tsadul"

Tsadul series combines five dynamic movements and one pranayama or breathing exercise. The practice helps to open and harmonize the subtle channels for energy to flow. In this way, it balances our inner condition, nurturing a state of equilibrium, supporting clarity, presence, and inner stability. Practicing the Tsadul, we can release tensions, from the superficial levels of the physical body to the more subtle ones.

What are the benefits of the Yantra Yoga practice?

  • At the level of your body

Yantra Yoga practice can help you deeply relax your body, ease pain and discomfort caused by stiffness and tension, relieve headaches and improve sleep quality. Your body becomes lighter and flexible and therefore circulation, articular health and general mobility is improved.

  • At the level of your breathing

Your breathing will be deeper, calmer and your lung capacity will increase. Yantra Yoga practice helps to speed up the recovery after a period of illness. You will also become more aware of the way you breathe, and access breathing techniques whenever you need to induce relaxation.

  • At the level of your mind

Find a deep sense of relaxation, reduce anxiety and elevate your emotional state. Increase calmness and a sense of peace and tranquility. The practice can also reduce mental burn out, fogginess, and have a recharging and energizing effect, making your mind sharper and more focused; with more presence and awareness.

Traditional Tibetan Medicine is an ancient system of healing that represents the base and the context that informed Yantra Yoga. This is why a general overview of the principles of Tibetan Medicine will make it easier to better understand why this ancient Yoga system is more than a temporary healing practice since it can also lead to long term health.

Tibetan Medicine is based on the theory of the Five Elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space. The first four elements are like the material basis and the Space element is like empty energy providing room for the other elements to develop. According to Tibetan medicine this is how our body is composed. To maintain a healthy body these five elements need to work together.

The Wind element and its various functions is particularly important for understanding the physical, energetic and mental benefits of a correct breathing practice since it represents the moving energy of our body deeply connected to the breath, nervous system and to our mental activity. In traditional Tibetan medicine, Yantra Yoga has been used as an effective method to heal and prevent the disturbances of the Wind element.

This method is a treasure!

Margaret, participant of the last edition of this course.

"A new and very alive and present sensation in the abdomen and pelvis appeared, after doing just a few repetitions. A new sensation also in the lower ribs. Energy circulates in the spine. This method is a treasure! The organization over several weeks with time to try, to recuperate and try again is very good for me. It also helps to put a routine into place which is one of my great difficulties, especially with postures which seemed arduous and impossible at my age (70). The association of Tibetan medicine with Dr. Phuntsog, the great experience with Yantra teachers and the clarity of Fabio proves very fruitful. Dr. Phuntsog gives us the motivation and all the good reasons for persisting even if in the beginning the going is hard. Excellent pedagogy!"

Really impressed us a lot!

Philip, Yantra Yoga course participant

“Day by day Fabio gave very detailed instructions regarding every movement with correct breathing, and on how to understand the principles and benefit by practicing. His broad knowledge on different Yoga schools, on scientific research and studies, the clear differences and their relation to Yantra Yoga really impressed us a lot.”

Dr. Wangmo's compassion and strength are always shining brightly.

Adam, Tibetan Medicine Student

I knew the moment I met Dr. Phuntsog Wangmo that I wanted to study Tibetan Medicine with her. Dr. Wangmo's compassion and strength are always shining brightly. I have been her student for many years, doing exciting projects in various countries and places. I feel truly fortunate to have her as a teacher and trusted mentor. She continues to amaze and inspire me with the depth of her knowledge, clarity, and dedication.

Integration of breath and body as well as mind.

Participant of Yantra Yoga Course

The highlight of the course was the many extra goodies that Fabio was able to impart to us, like specific warm ups for each of the movements in Yantras as well as the warm ups for opening us to the intricacies of the preliminaries, which are in themselves a cornucopia of the different ways of experiencing the breathing and its mechanisms. All of this allowed us to deepen our practice and to feel the importance of the integration of breath and body as well as mind.

The learning process is both very precise and very pleasant for the group of students.

Thierry, Tibetan Medicine Course Participant

Taking the courses on Tibetan Medicine opened my eyes to a very extensive medical system. The high standard of teaching and the supervised practice sessions made the learning process both very precise and very pleasant for the group of students.
