About Yantra Yoga:

Yantra yoga was originally brought to Tibet by Padmasambhava in the 8th century and entrusted to the scholar, master, and translator Vairochana who recorded the practice in a text known as the “Trulkor Nyida Khajor”, or the Union of Sun and Moon. It was first introduced to the West in the 1970s by one of the foremost Dzogchen masters of our time, Chögyal Namkhai Norbu, and later made openly available, understanding the immense benefit it holds for everyone.

What are the benefits of the Yantra Yoga practice?

  • At the level of your body

Yantra Yoga practice can help you deeply relax your body, ease pain and discomfort caused by stiffness and tension and improve sleep quality. Your body becomes lighter and flexible and therefore circulation, articular health and general mobility is improved.

  • At the level of your breathing

You will become more aware of the way you breathe, your breathing will be deeper, calmer, and your lung capacity will increase. You will also access breathing techniques whenever you need to induce relaxation.

  • At the level of your mind

You will find a deep sense of relaxation, reduce anxiety, elevate your emotional state, increase calmness, and a sense of peace and tranquillity. The practice can also reduce mental burnout, and fogginess, and have a recharging and energizing effect, making your mind sharper and more focused with more presence and awareness.

The objective of the program is to delve into the practice of Yantra Yoga, and obtain a certain degree of autonomy in the method. "Yantra Yoga from A to Z" is not a teacher training program, but a continuous learning program.

Testimonials

What our students say about the Yantra Yoga from A to Z program:

Laura Aristizabal Vega

(Trainer teacher of Vinyasa Yoga. Practitioner of yoga, meditation and Tibetan Buddhism. Illustrator)

“I really liked the yantra course from A to Z. It was a very nice experience to LEARN this traditional practice in a accompanied and unhurried process. I was able to incorporate the preliminary series into my personal practice as well as venture into the main series, savoring the kind effect of Yantra Yoga on my body, mind and energy. The process was enriched by the large staff of teachers who came to share their experience, which made each module a new universe opening up. Leticia has a very warm and clear way of teaching and the ability to accompany the process. I also really appreciated the weekly practice space, a familiar, daily and tender place where we open up to movement, breathing and presence.”

Juan Pablo Restrepo

(Experienced yoga and acroyoga teacher. Philosopher. Student of Buddhism and deep ecology)

“Yantra Yoga has opened up a more subtle dimension of physical practice for me. It has taught me to breathe deeply, to bring joy to smooth movement and to recognize the sensitivity of this body beyond (or closer to) the mechanical dimension that we usually inhabit. As a system I find that it reflects the precision and search of the ancestors of the tantric Buddhist tradition. But, at the same time, I find his proposal as an approach that contributes to our contemporary crisis where the disconnection of our sensibility and the discursiveness of the mind seem to monopolize our entire lives."
